I want to hold your hand,
And make that smile of yours forever last!
Yet anxious not to lose them both I pace myself,
And listen to your galaxy of thoughts in awe.
I want that hug of ours last for all eternity,
And blame me not, if, for a moment brief,
I slipped out into timelessness itself,
And burnt that sweetest moment in to my breast.
A thought, a word, a line, a text,
Ideas bounced off - so soul entrapping carefully
Take root like seeds in me - I let them grow:
I never want to stop receiving echoes from your lips -
Nor do I think I can - it is too late.
As people come and go they cross my gaze,
In utter dullness when the night falls on the moon -
Not you, not here, not now - like gravity,
Has gait and soft awoken word of yours
Encaptured me and pulled me near,
Like starlight bent so gently in its aeon-path,
All suddenly to fall into the darkest mystery
Of time and space.
It must unsettle you,
It's foolish, unintended rush,—
But here I am — And so be it —
Alone and looking up onto the starry sky,
With naked soul and secrets all revealed to you.
The boy, in all his childlike innocence and hope,
You stripped him bare within a single week —
And now as he has lost himself to you like pebble on the beach
He asks for nothing than to hold your hand
Like wave that takes him gently back to sea.
